2020 lessons learned

We, here at the R. J. Leonard Foundation, are more than ready to say goodbye to 2020 but not without remembering the lessons learned throughout the year first. Looking back, we see that:

• Our Fellows are unstoppable. These college students, employees, essential workers, parents have persevered through unimaginable challenges this year, teaching us the true meaning of strength. 
  
• Our Mentors are beyond dedicated. From those matched virtually during stay-at-home orders to those who delivered food, masks, printers and gifts to their Fellows and even the two who helped out a single mom with afternoon babysitting, their commitment is unprecedented. 
  
• Our Family is truly a family. The outpouring of support through the year and particularly during our virtual gala was overwhelming. Thank you!
