Joyce's story |
Emily is working towards becoming a nurse. She began the BSN program at Drexel University, and graduated in 2022. Way to go Emily! Changing the statistics one at a time.

Joyce earned her associate’s degree from MCCC in 2019. This departure was bittersweet, as it meant the end of Joyce’s on-campus radio show “The Afternoon Groove.” However, it also meant the beginning of her time at Temple University where she will complete her bachelor's degree. We wish Joyce all the best at Temple and will then journey with her onto graduate school where she seeks to become a Phd.

Jason's story"I am one of the original Fellows at RJLF. Fortunately for me, I had Jo Leonard as my personal mentor; during that time she was building the board and adding new mentors and mentees. The entire organization is incredible. I also have attended some of the fundraisers for RJLF. Everyone is so genuine and resourceful! RJLF really does help you pursue whatever it is you're passionate about. I have also always felt safe being able to communicate and problem solve with them as well. It’s a truly special and non-judgmental zone and relationship. RJLF is family to me and I to them."

Fellow story"RJLF has been a tremendous help in getting me on my feet and showing me a world of possibilities. RJLF is an upbeat, educated group of people who always have their Fellows' best interest in mind. I hope to continue growing with the foundation so that one day I can be just as much a help to someone else as they are to me."
